The Backyard Show
The Backyard Show is a podcast which Kaleb created to highlight the creative process of indie musicians in the Los Angeles area. Kaleb hosts, records, edits, and creates visual accompaniments for all episodes of The Backyard Show.
Shaman Cult
For their NPR Tiny Desk submission, Kaleb engineered and mixed the audio of Shaman Cult's performance of "Under The Table" live at 22nd Dimension studios.
Pretty Ugly Boy
Kaleb writes and records music under the name Pretty Ugly Boy. For his song "My Tide" he created a music video featuring only Instagram filters.
James Russell
Kaleb mixed and provided additional production for the debut single "Justified" by artist James Russell
Post Production
Given a completely silent clip from the film "Monsters Inc", Kaleb led a team of four to record and edit all foley and dialogue for a school project.
About
Kaleb Zamudio is an audio engineer from Los Angeles California with an infectious enthusiasm for the recording process. Earning his Associate of Science degree in Recording Technology in 2021, Kaleb has had involvement in various school theatre productions, live music events, podcast production, and music production.In order to feed his passion for recording, Kaleb created Pretty Ugly Boy. Started in 2018 Pretty Ugly Boy has been a vessel for Kaleb to grow as a recording engineer and song writer as well as gain experience in video editing, website design, photography, graphic design, and marketing.
